Don't know how to sew or craft? We will have some amazing staff on duty to help you create the best clothing possible.

Want to come to the craft shop but have no idea how to sew or make crafts? We will be employing part-time staff throughout this pop-up event who are able to teach you how to turn old clothes into something new. You will be able to learn in an active environment, and any skills you learn are transferable to your daily life. The purpose of this pop-up is to show you a more sustainable method of fashion, using skills in craft to re-use clothes you no longer want.

The learning involved with the pop-up comes with your ticket. Just come down to the pop-up and ask a member of staff for some help and they will happily show you how to safely and effectively craft your items.

Signing Up to Teach

Are you a university student in need of work experience? Or someone with a passion for art and fashion? Sign up to work part-time during this pop-up event to gain more knowledge and experience in these industries.

This part-time work is available to anyone interested in working in art or fashion. While anyone can apply, we most strongly encourage applications from students as we would love to provide opportunities for PAID work for those hoping to go into these industries. Please email your CV and Cover Note to the Depop Craft Shop under the Subject "Depop Learning Application" and we will reach out if we believe you are suitable.

Responsibilities:

By signing up for this position you can gain valuable experience to add to your CV. Some of your responsibilities will include teaching customers how to sew, showing how to safely use equipment including hot-glue guns, how to ensure minimal waste to the projects they create and how to make sure that clothing is made to last.

Crafting won't be your only responsability. You will also be in charge of standard retail work, ensuring the shop is run correctly and in charge of stock within the shop.

Our initial application process consists of sending a CV and Cover Note explaining why you want to role to us. If successful, you will receive more information on the role and what your responsibilities will be.
